Shafaq News / An informed source said that Iraq has evacuated the Iranian citizens who was the first person infected with new Corona virus in Iraq to his country.

"After the agreement and coordination between the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Iranian consulate and the approval of the World Health Organization, the Iranian citizen who was infected with Corona virus was evacuated shortly before," the source told Shafaq News.

The source added that "the infected person had already been discharged from Al-Hakim General Hospital in Najaf where he had been lying for two days, and was being transported by road by an ambulance equipped and prepared for this purpose to Iran."

The Iranian citizen, whose name was Suhail Al-Amiri, was the first case of infection recorded in Iraq yesterday, before four other people were infected today in Kirkuk, who are also members of a family coming from Iran.
