Iraq has began its military campaign after a senior commander in the army and a group of officers and soldiers had been killed by a number of al-Qaeda elements in Anbar .
Events have evolved after the authorities arrested Sunni MP, Ahmed al-Alwani accused of inciting sectarian violence in the country whose brother was killed in armed clashes that have erupted with the executing force of the arrest operation in Anbar , followed by the lifting the protester’s tents against government of Nuri al-Maliki.
According to a statement issued by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs , received by “Shafaq News " , “ each of Japan , the United States , Russia, Britain , France, the United Nations , the European Union , Turkey , Iran , Italy and Spain support Iraq in its war against terrorism .
It seems that the events taking place in Anbar province have begun to warn of the return of violence and sectarian fighting that had taken place between 2006 and 2007, in the country.
Battles are still taking place between police forces and tribesmen loyal to the government against the insurgents in Anbar province , forces of the Iraqi army are mobilizing on the outskirts of the province in preparation to launch a major military operation there.
Local officials, tribes in Anbar , Sunni politicians refuses any military intervention in the current events in the province, vowing that the people of the province and local police forces to clear the area from Daashmilitants.
The Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister , Saleh al-Mutlaq warned on Friday in a press statement that his country is facing what he described as the ghost of division if the decision-makers in Baghdad didn’t change their way in dealing with the situation , especially clashes between government forces and insurgentsin Anbar province.
Al-Maliki has strongly criticized yesterday while attending a forum for one of the political forces , partied and bodies that did not support the army till now in its operation in Anbar , once again warned of the danger of al-Qaeda presence in all parts of the world and the region in particular.
Maliki expressed his delight in more than one occasion for international endorsements received by the government in striking al-Qaeda “Daash”.
