Shafaq News/ The Foreign Minister, Mohammed Ali al-Hakim confirmed that the Iraqi judiciary is committed to prosecuting Iraqi terrorists or foreigners if they commit crimes in Iraq, and is not responsible for trialing foreigners in Syria for crimes committed there against non-Iraqis.
In a televised interview with the Dutch media network and NRC newspaper, al-Hakim stressed the importance of continued international efforts to combat terrorism, cut off funding, hold terrorists accountable for their crimes, and reaffirm Iraq's keenness to bring justice to victims of terrorism.
He pointed out that the Iraqi government puts the relationship with the Netherlands in its priorities, pointing out that the main directions of Iraq's foreign policy aims to build the best relations with the countries of the world.
