Shafaq News / The Security Media Cell announced on Monday that six fighters were wounded by Katyusha rocket targeting a military camp in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport.
The cell said in a statement reported to Shafaq News, that four Katyusha rockets landed in one of the camps surrounding Baghdad International Airport, wounding six fighters.
The statement added that the security forces began searching the areas and found a missile launcher, with rockets that were stalled.
A source in the Anti-Terrorism Service had reported earlier that a site of them at the military airport within Baghdad International Airport had been subjected to missile bombing, leaving a number of wounded elements.
The source told Shafaq News that the shelling that targeted the site at dawn today resulted in the injury of five people, two of whom are in serious condition.
For their part, residents in the capital, Baghdad, said that they had heard the sound of firing rockets and explosions at dawn today at the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport.
