Shafaq News /Iraqi demonstrators continued their protests on Wednesday near al-Shuhada Bridge in Al-Rashid Street in central Baghdad.

Press sources and eyewitnesses told Shafaq News that the protesters demonstrated in Al-Wathba Square passing through Hafeth Al-Qadi area to reach al-Shuhada Bridge. Riot police tried to disperse them by firing tear gas and live bullets to no avail, pointing to injuries among demonstrators and the closure of the bridge.

To that said staff from the Central Bank of Iraq and al-Rafidain Bank, the main branch in Rashid Street that the protection of the bank and the bank took precautionary measures to close the entrance and exit gates, pointing out that they are trapped in the buildings.
