Shafaq News / The joint Iraqi forces ended the second page of the "Heroes of Victory" operations on Saturday by clearing the border adjacent to the Jordanian and Saudi borders.

"The second stage of the "Heroes of Victory" operations ended the arrest of 12 suspects and they will be referred to the competent authorities, as nine pieces of light weapons and a Kia vehicle were seized that does not carry the identification documents," the commander of Anbar's operations for the popular mobilization forces, Qasim Musleh said in a statement reported to Shafaq News.

Musleh added, "The operation witnessed clearing a number of areas, including (Zaileh - Atbel - Nahidin - Azamal Houran) in addition to the border strip that extends from Trebil, passing through the Jordanian borders and the Saudi border strip.

The Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Forces started on Friday the second page of the second Heroes of Victory operations towards a number of targets, most notably combing areas adjacent to the Jordanian and Saudi borders.
