Shafaq News / The Minister of Health and Environment, Hassan Al-Tamimi decided on Monday to impose a curfew on six areas in the capital, Baghdad, after a high rate of new Corona virus occurred.
“The minister said that it had been decided to start the complete regional curfew as of Wednesday, May 20, 2020, for a period of two weeks, and for some sectors for the following region noted by the health departments of Rusafa and Karkh, which are: Sadr City, Habibiya City, al-Kamalia City, Al-Huriya city, Al-Shulaa city, and Al-Ameriya city ,the minister said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency read.
He added that effective epidemiological monitoring will take place in sectors and shops as well as health awareness and sterilization in cooperation with Baghdad Operations Command , the Directorate of Civil Defense and the Secretariat of Baghdad, media, institutions and departments concerned and supervise direct from the Minister.
The minister noted that the same measures will be taken in the rest of Baghdad and the provinces if an increase in the number of infections took place based on the daily epidemiological situations.
