Shafaq News/ The spokesman of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service (ISI) denied on Monday that any official figure in the agency had given permission to Middle East Online website or any other media regarding the attacks on oil institutions east of Saudi Arabia.

The spokesman said in a statement today that the agency is committed to the text and spirit of the statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office on September 15, and calls on the media to be credible and accurate in reporting news, especially those that may seek to involve the country in external confrontation conflicts.

The mentioned website has noted that an official in the Iraqi intelligence service has confirmed that no armed activity has been noted from the country 's territory regarding the targeting of two facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco oil company.

The White House has noted on Tuesday that images have been taken by satellites of the oil facilities of Abqaiq and Khurais in Saudi Arabia, which were badly damaged in Saturday's attack on September 14, resulting in a stop in its work in the past two days.

US officials said that at least 19 sites were hit by high-precision direct strikes using medium-range cruise missiles, 17 of which were at Abqaiq and at least two at Khurais Hijra facility, contrary to the first story which says that Iranian-backed Houthi militias adopted the operation by targeting them by dozens of drones as the military spokesman of Houthis claimed.
