Shafaq News / Iraqi Interior Minister, Lieutenant General Othman Al-Ghanmi arrived on Saturday in the disputed Kirkuk governorate between Erbil and Baghdad.

Al-Ghanmi arrived in Kirkuk accompanied by the commander of the Federal Police Force, an official security source told Shafaq News Agency.

Al-Ghanimi is scheduled to hold meetings with leaders of the security services to discuss the situation in Kirkuk after the increase in attacks by ISIS in the province and the rest of the areas that were under his control in mid-2014 in Iraq.
