Shafaq News / The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Qusay al-Suhail announced on Wednesday that he will leave political work "finally" upon his handing over of his position in the event of the formation of the new Iraqi government.

Al-Suhail said in a statement today” The portfolio of the Ministry of Education will be delivered directly to the new minister who comes after me as soon as the new government is voted on.”

"I will leave politics permanently and return to my academic job," he added.
