Shafaq News / The Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council announced that the Minister of Agriculture, Saleh Al-Hassani appeared before the judge of Karkh Investigation Court to investigate his statement to one of the TV channels about allocating $ 90 million from the currency auction for importing unnecessary materials.

“The minister denied these statements before the investigating judge and stated that they were fabricated," while the court decided to verify the veracity of the statements in the meeting and indicate whether the speech was fabricated or not,” The media center stated.

"If what was reported in this meeting was proven incorrect, the promoter will be punished according to the provisions of Article 211 of the Penal Code by imprisonment and fine as false news that harms the public interest,” He added.
