Shafaq News/ Vice President of the Iraqi Parliament, Bashir Khalil al-Haddad confirmed on the importance of rapid government reforms and responds to the legitimate demands of the demonstrators in accordance with specific ceilings in line with the gravity of the stage and believes to overcome the crisis.

He said in a statement, "We directed the Regiment to protect the parliament to responsible dealing with protesters and protect them in accordance with the principles of human rights, in case the demonstrations reach the building of the parliament and not to face them with violence. As we demand the demonstrators to keep it a peaceful demonstration in order to improve the service situation and hold the corrupt accountable and provide job opportunities for the youth.

He pointed out that the peaceful demonstration is a legitimate right guaranteed by the Constitution and laws, and stressed the need to ensure the conduct of demonstrations so as to ensure the peaceful demonstration and protect the lives of demonstrators.
