Shafaq News / The Jordanian authorities Al-Karama crossing on the border with Iraq, returned seven Iraqis on Thursday due to their high temperature.

The director of al-Ruwaished Governmental Hospital, the health official in the brigade, Dr. Musa Abu Aqoula said that seven Iraqis who were coming to Jordan through al- Karama crossing had been returned after the survey tests showed that their temperatures had risen above 37 degrees, explaining that their return was based on the precautionary measures followed by the Ministry of Health, to prevent the spread of corona virus in the Kingdom, According to the Jordanian News Agency.

He pointed out that coordination has taken place between the cadres operating within al-Karama Jordanian borders with their counterparts in the Iraqi borders, to prevent entry of suspected cases from both sides, and return them to their country while only the Jordanian citizen is allowed to enter his country, provided that tests are carried out and he is isolated in special centers to verify his medical condition

Abu Aqoula said that the number of arrivals from the Iraqi side to Jordan ranges between 500-700 arrivals per day, indicating that they are subject to thermal checks that the Ministry has put in the border region through medical and nursing cadres to maintain the safety and public health of the Jordanian and Iraqi sides.

He explained that the Ministry provided the cadres with special glasses to and medical sterilizers prevent corona virus, in addition to distributing masks to all workers at the crossing from medical, security and customs cadres to prevent disease
