Shafaq News / The Department of Al-Husseini Shrine in Karbala announced on Wednesday that it will not hold Friday prayers ceremonies for this week to reduce the outbreak of Corona virus.

In a brief statement carried by Shiite religious television stations today, the administration said that it had decided to stop Friday prayer rituals this week.

The holy Husseini shrine in Iraq took the same decision last week.

Thousands of Shiite visitors from inside and outside Iraq head Karbala city, which includes the two shrines of Imam Hussein bin Ali Ibn Abi Talib and his brother Al -Abbas (PBUT) to perform the visit.
