Shafaq News / A security source said on Saturday, that large numbers of demonstrators have arrived towards Tahrir Square, in the center of the capital, Baghdad.

The source told Shafaq News that "this morning, Tahrir Square witnessed a large number of citizens," indicating that "calm prevails in the square, without any clashed coming close to it."

He added that "the demonstrators regained control of Al-Sinak Bridge, Al-Sink Garage, Al-Khilani Square , the alleys of Al-Rashid Street and Hafez Al-Qadi, near Al-Ahrar Bridge."

On Friday, security and medical sources said that the outcome of the attack that targeted the demonstrators near Tahrir Square, in the center of the capital, was 12 killed and 45 people wounded.

Masked gunmen opened fire from four civilian wheels without registration plates, targeting the protesters in the parking garage in the Al-Sinak area forcing the protesters to withdraw Al-Khulani Square and then Tahrir Square.
