Shafaq News / The MP from the State of Law coalition , Mansour Al-Baiji has noted that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi was subjected to political blackmail to accept candidates in his new government.

Al-Baiji said in an interview reported to Shafaq News, "All political forces should leave the formation of the new government to Mr. Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi and that no candidate will be imposed on him. In the event that a candidate was imposed by some of the powers on Allawi then he has to present an independent candidate, we will pass him by the majority within the parliament, as we passed a decision removing foreign forces from our lands. "

Al-Baiji added that "all political forces are responsible for what is going on in the country and they must bear their full responsibility and not avoid their duties on the pretext that the demonstrations are far from their provinces and they are not concerned."

Allawi - a former minister who was named Prime Minister after a difficult consensus reached by political forces - is supposed to present his formation to parliament before the second of next March to vote on it according to the requirements of the constitution.

The Iraqi capital and the rest of the provinces of central and southern Iraq is witnessing since the first of last October, unprecedented demonstrations calling for the departure of the ruling political class, and holding early elections and fighting corruption.
