Shafaq News/ Hundreds of people took part in a protest in the holy city of Najaf, an informed source said Sunday.

A source told Shafaq News that hundreds of students and civil activists went out in a protest in downtown Najaf, demanding the current authority to leave and the elimination of corruption and unemployment.

The demonstrators held banners condemning Iran and the United States, demanding an Iraqi authority rejecting any foreign and regional interference in its internal affairs.
