Shafaq News/ Two new members submitted on Monday their resignation from Najaf provincial council, bringing the number to seven.

The source told Shafaq News, that Razak Sharif , Asefa al- Yaseri and Amin Ghazali submitted their resignation.

The head of the Education Committee in Dhi Qar Provincial Council, Shahid al-Ghalbi, announced earlier resigning from the council in protest against the violation against the demonstrations.

Hakima al-Shibli, a member of Diwaniya provincial council, also announced her resignation.

This comes at a time when three members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives resigned to protest the killing and suppression in demonstrations in the capital Baghdad and a number of provinces in the middle and southern Euphrates of predominantly Shiite.

Najaf's provincial council, which has a religious and historical character, consists of 29 districts.
