Shafaq News / The Ministry of Defense denied on Monday what was reported on websites and social media pages about the return of Iraqi prisoners to the country.

The ministry said in a statement today that the Ministry of Defense denies what was reported by some news agencies, TV channels and social networking sites, about the return of a group of Iraqi prisoners to the country through Kurdistan Region of Iraq and under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Baghdad.

The ministry clarified that any news related to the above subject would be published through the official media of the bodies responsible for the prisoners file.
