Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Displacement and Migration has announced that it has closed Al-Jada'a camp sixth which is affiliated to al-Qayyara sub-district, south of Nineveh province, after the last group of displaced families left the camp, returning to their original areas after spending nearly four years in the camp.
"After the end of the basic purpose of establishing of this camp and the return of all displaced families to their areas of origin in Salahuddin and Anbar provinces, the sixth Jadaa camp has been officially closed," said Ali Abbas Jahakir, director of the ministry's branch affairs department.
Jahakir said that "Nineveh province hosts 13 camps for the displaced people ," noting that " Nimrod and the sixth Jadaa camps have been officially closed, in addition to Haj Ali camp which is about to be closed in the next few days after the return of many displaced families to their places of origin, in addition to integrating Hamam Al-Alil first camp with Hamam Hamam Al-Alil second camp for its few residents."
