Shafaq News / Al-Abbas combat group, a faction of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), reported on Sunday that it had foiled a missile attack on the outskirts of Karbala Governorate.

The combat group said in a statement today that "based on accurate intelligence information, a combat detachment with the tactical team of   Abbas Division went outside the sector of responsibility 25 km east of Wadi Ghafd in Anbar desert to control a group of projectiles prepared for the operation containing 6 missiles with a motorcycle which was preparing to target Al-Nukhaib district of Al-Anbar Governorate, adding that the missiles were destroyed while the terrorists fled away.
