Shafaq News / Basra and Najaf provinces recorded 43 new cases of Corona virus on Saturday.

Najaf Health Director General Radwan Kamel Al-Kindi said, in a statement reported to Shafaq News, that "his department recorded (34) new infections with Corona virus today after the Public Health Laboratory in Najaf carried out 143 laboratory tests of contact and other suspected cases. The mentioned cases are distributed as follows:

16 cases of contact with a previously diagnosed positive case in Al-Mishkhab district - Rak Al-Haswa

- 6 cases of contact with a previously diagnosed positive case in Kufa / al-Sob Al-Sagher

 - 3 cases of contact with a previously diagnosed positive case in Kufa / al-Abbasiya

- 2 cases of contact with a previously diagnosed positive case in Kufa / Al-Jadida al-Uola - near the College of Law

-3 cases of positive cases previously diagnosed in Maysan neighborhood - Al-Wafa neighborhood - the northern sector

-4 cases of suspects were distributed in: Al-Quds neighborhood - Al-Rahma neighborhood - Maysan neighborhood - Al-Barakia.

Thus, the total number of cases recorded in Najaf governorate is as follows:

175 confirmed cases

49 recovered

4 deaths

Two departures to their country (Iran)

For his part, Director General of Basra Health Department, Abbas Al-Tamimi, announced recording 9 new infections with Corona virus in the province this Saturday morning.

The local "Radbu al-Murbid" quoted al-Tamimi as saying that "10 people recovered today," explaining that "the province recorded 12 cases yesterday, bringing the total number of infections in Basra 122 after yesterday it was 113, while 36 cases have recovered so far while 10 cases   died."
