Shafaq News / Najaf Health Department announced on Thursday, that it has recorded 9 new infections with Coronavirus.

The department statement reported to Shafaq News stated that "the Public Health Laboratory in Najaf carried out tests on 88 suspected samples, 29 of which were samples within the random survey plan and one sample for arrivals quarantined in hotels. These tests showed that there are 9 positive cases carrying the virus in different regions of the province. And as follows:

- 7 cases in contact with a previous positive case in / Najaf: Al Mishkhab - Rak Haswa

- 1 suspected case subjected to epidemiological tests / Najaf - Hay Al Milad

- 1 suspected case subjected to epidemiological tests in / Najaf - Kufa - Maysan neighborhood

The statement indicated that "the total number of the cases recorded in Najaf is as follows: -

296 confirmed cases

242 recovered cases
