Shafaq News / The Health Department of Najaf announced on Monday, that two new cases of Corona virus were recorded, while Dhi Qar Province recorded one new case of recovery from the virus.

A department statement, reported to Shafaq News that "the public health laboratory in Najaf conducted tests for (82) suspects, as the tests procedures confirmed the existence of two new cases of the emerging corona virus."

The statement clarified that "these two cases are as follows: -

- One case in contact with a previously diagnosed positive case in Najaf - Al-Ansar neighborhood

- One case in contact with a previously diagnosed positive condition in / Najaf - Al-Qadisiyah neighborhood

The statement pointed out that "the total recorded cases in the province, reached 261 confirmed cases, of which 149 had recovered fully and 5 deaths."

While Dhi Qar Health Department announced recording a new case of recovery for a woman who was infected with the new Corona virus.

"The results of the laboratory tests of the Public Health Laboratory in Baghdad, and for the second time in a row, have proven the recovery of a 39-year-old woman from Al-Thawra area in Nasiriyah," said the director of the department, Abdul-Hussein Al-Jabri.

Al-Jabri pointed out that "the number of infected people who have gained full recovery reached 13 cases."
