Shafaq News / Security authorities in Najaf decided on Sunday to suspend the visit of the Prophet’s Mission, for fear of an outbreak of Corona virus.

In a statement today, the provincial police leadership addressed the visitors by saying that "this measure will be in implementation of the directives of the supreme religious authority and the health crisis cell about the dangerous transmission of Corona virus among the crowds of visitors and citizens in the gatherings and to preserve your safety and health and to prevent you from the danger of this deadly virus."

In its statement, the leadership expressed " its apology from all Iraqis from outside and inside Najaf and their failure to receive a memorial to the Prophet’s mission, which falls on the 27^th of Rajab, due to the seriousness of Corona's disease, which is transmitted through gatherings and human crowds."
