Shafaq News / Informed sources revealed on Thursday, that political forces informed Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi that they will not vote on the ministerial program presented by the latter to the Iraqi parliament, unless an amendment is made.
“Most of the Shiite political forces informed Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi of their reservations about the ministerial platform, due to the lack of an explicit date for early elections, and not including a special paragraph to take away the American and foreign forces out of Iraq, according to the decision of the Iraqi parliament, ”The sources told Shafaq News.
“These entities have informed the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi that they will not vote on this platform without modifying it and include these two important paragraphs to vote on it and the new government implementation for them to be binding,” The sources added.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kadhimi signed the Ministerial Program letter for his government and sent it to the Presidency of the Parliament.
A video recording published by Al-Kadhimi media office today showed signed the curriculum, saying in a brief interview, "I sign the ministerial curriculum: Long live Iraq for land, people and national sovereignty."
"An informed political source had earlier informed Shafaq News that Al-Kadhimi has finished the process of forming the cabinet, with the exception of the Ministries of Interior and Defense. For the presence of deep Shiite-Shiite dispute over the Interior Ministry, and less disagreement over Defense Ministry among the Sunni political forces.
