Shafaq News / The Crisis Cell in Nineveh Governorate decided on Tuesday to close its entrances to arrivals after the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the rest of Iraq’s regions and cities.
The Crisis Cell held a meeting today, which resulted in the following decisions:
First: The entrances to Nineveh Governorate will be completely closed to arrivals from Thursday, 21 /5/2020 from 6 a.m.
Second: Supporting Al-Barari checkpoint with a force from the National Security and a detachment from Nineveh Health Department with a quick examination kit.
Third: Entrusting Nineveh Operations Command and West Nineveh Command to follow up and close al-Mesamiya roads at the entrances to the city
Fourth: The necessity of citizens ’commitment to stay away from gatherings in markets, malls and closed places, commit to health and preventive measures, including wearing gloves and masks as well as staying home.
Fifth: Food trucks, fuel tanks, and health and service personnel continue to be excluded from these procedures.
Sixth: Legal measures will be taken against violators.
