Nujaifi said in a statement reported for " Shafaq News “, that " our people received this news of the dominance of some armed terrorist groups on Tharthar dam and its cut off water from the central and southern provinces on one hand and exposing areas adjacent to the dam to the risk of a flood that wound effect the farmlands and residential areas.

“While we disapprove this action against the Iraqi people we condemn it strongly and call on our people in Anbar to respond to this sabotage and destructive attempt and call to resist every terrorist coward act targeting the unity of our people, the security, stability and peace, we renew our rejection of heinous acts perpetrated against our people in Fallujah under cover of fight against terrorism and prosecute terrorists”.

Nujaifi called to “stop inflicting further harm to the inhabitants of Fallujah   and to be professional in prosecuting those involved in terrorist acts.

The Office of the General Commander of the Armed Forces had announced last Sunday , that " Daash " organization and its supporters of Baathists in Fallujah have cut water on central and southern regions , and vowed to take " the utmost force."
