Khalidi told “Shafaq News " on “the possibility of the parliament intervention to end Diyala political crisis and said that " the political blocs within the provincial council is responsible for resolving differences and reaching understandings ."
 “ Diyala political situation is unstable and we are concerned from its affects on the security situation ,” Khalidi  added
The political blocs in Diyala revealed last month the formation of a central committee in Baghdad to end differences on the formation of the local government.
Diyala provincial council chose last week , Amer al-Majmaee as the new governor to succeed , Omar al-Humairi in which Diyala national alliance said that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki withdraw Majmaee from the administration of the province because of corruption files which was denied by the governor later.
But the presidency has refused to give the position of governor of Diyala to Majmaee due to legal problems accompanied his election process.
