Shafaq News / The Presidency of the Iraqi parliament decided to postpone holding the meeting scheduled for Sunday to give confidence to the transitional government headed by Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi for half an hour.

A parliamentary source told Shafaq News that the presidency decided to postpone the session due to the lack of a quorum to hold it due to the objections of most of the parliamentary blocs to the transitional government and its president.

The source added that most of the parliament members present are in the cafeteria,Pointing out that Allawi will not attend the session today, except after a consensus and a quorum for the meeting
