Shafaq News/ The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Saturday that the official positions of the forces are limited to what is issued by the Directorate of Media and what is published on the official website of PMF, otherwise they don’t represent the official position of the forces.

The Authority said in a statement received by Shafaq News that "Our confirmation comes after observing the issuance of positions and statements of unknown parties linking themselves to PMF claiming that they belong to them, taking advantage of the name of the forces."

The Authority stressed "solidarity with peaceful demonstrators demanding their legitimate rights," praising at the same time "the performance of security forces in protecting the demonstrators and provide protection for places of demonstrations."

"PMF continues to perform its duty in the berms to prevent the return of ISIS and protect the country from the terrorist dangers," the statement said.

A group calling itself the Popular Mobilization Supporters said on Saturday that it refuses to offend Iran's leaders in protests in Iraq.

"In light of the recent events and demonstrations calling for reform and anti-corruption in Baghdad and some provinces, we have regrettably seen some actions, slogans and banners that offend the symbols of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially His Eminence Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution and Haj Qasim Soleimani , What happened is very painful and cannot be tolerated. "

The statement added that "the majority of the Iraqi people reject this abuse and what happened is unacceptable as these actions are far from the reality of Iraqi society. ".

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has given all support to the Iraqi people in their plight and suffering during the regime of the tyrant Saddam. It stood with Iraq after the U.S. occupation in 2003 and its most important supportive positions to support the Iraqi armed forces and the Popular Mobilization when a number of provinces of Iraq fell to ISIS. And everyone knows that His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei made the decision to open arms stores in Iran immediately after the ISIS attack on Iraq, then Suleimani was present on the battlefield providing all support to Iraq. Khamenei was and remains the first defender of Iraq as a reference, government and people. The Iraqi government will not forget these honorable actions ".

"We blame the Islamic political parties, the media and cultural elites, especially some of the scientific and political figures that we see comment  in every event . We have not found any position about what happened to the abuse of the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran. So is that how to return a favor !? "

The statement added, "As for the Iraqi state ... we not hear any condemnation?
