Shafaq News / Diyala governorate saw today special measures to revive the " International Quds Day " or what is known also as (Jerusalem Day)celebrated in Iran and in some countries at the last Friday of Ramadan every year, the day that the late Iranian leader Khomeini called to revive.

As the spread of images of - Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei, as well as the new leader of "Quds Force" Esmail Qaani in addition to the leader of the Lebanese "Hezbollah" Hassan Nasrallah, and the leader of "Ansar Allah Houthi " Abd al-Malik al-Houthi was noticed widely in Baquba city, the center of Diyala governorate and other cities,

The photos carried the phrase read "We will pray in the Al Aqsa Compound (known to Muslims as the Haram esh-Sharif ) soon."

Shia factions loyal to Iran have long hung pictures of Khomeini and Khamenei in the capital, Baghdad, and the central and southern provinces of the Shiite majority.

It is held every year on the last Friday of Ramadan, as it is not an Islamic religious holiday; It is, however, an event of a political nature.
