Shafaq News/ Angry protesters closed one of Iraq's most important ports in southern Iraq, an informed source said Thursday.

"The demonstrators held a sit-in and closed Umm Qasr port in Basra province," the source told Shafaq News.

"The protesters prevented the port staff from entering, in protest against the deterioration of the service and living conditions in the province," the source said.
