Shafaq News / On Sunday, demonstrators blocked several main roads in three governorates, in southern Iraq.

A security source told Shafaq News, "Protesters blocked Khor Al-Zubair road west of Basra, which leads to Khor Al-Zubair port, Umm Qasr port and the oil port and the fertilizer plant and prevented all employees from reaching their departments."

The source added that "the demonstrators in Dhi Qar Governorate closed al-Baho intersection, Al-Hatharat Bridge, Al-Nasr and Al-Nahr Street in the center of Nasiriyah, while a number of students closed the main door of Al-Muthanna University."

Umm Qasr district in Basra Governorate recently witnessed 15 people injury in clashes between the demonstrators and the army forces.
