Shafaq News/ Protesters managed to regain control of al- Zaitoun Bridge in Nasiriyah city on Thursday as they set fire to a military headquarters after controlling it.

An official security source told Shafaq News, that the protesters arrived at al- Shaibani crossroads after controlling al- Zaitoun Bridge , the retreat of troops and the withdrawal of the rapid reaction regiment from their headquarters.

The source added that the protesters were able to take control of the headquarters of the task force regiment in Nasiriyah and set it on fire.
