Shafaq News/ A source in Diwaniya province revealed on Sunday, that protesters shut down the government radio of Diwaniya.

The source told Shafaq News that "demonstrators were able to force employees of Diwaniya Radio affiliated to the local government to stop its programs, after broadcast programs presenters as they said abused the protesters."

The students of Muthanna University organized a demonstration inside the university, and expressed readiness to go to the central demonstration square in downtown Samawa.

Students in a number of schools and colleges in Maysan province continued their strike and joined the demonstrators.
