Press reports briefed by " Shafaq News " , said that “ the President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority Prince , Faisal bin Abdullah asked, head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Kuwait , Gerard Petrnier from the International Committee of the Red Cross when receiving him in his office in Riyadh body yesterday to find quick and urgent solutions for Saudis detainees in Iraq's prisons .
Abdullah stressed on the need to transfer these detainees to Saudi Arabia and complete the rest of the trial in the Kingdom , stressing that the current situation to them requires either transferring the detainees to the Kingdom or transfer them to Soussa prison in Kurdistan so they would be treated in " humanely and improve their situation ."
Abdullah also called the Red Cross to move forward in resolving the issues of Saudi prisoners in Iraq in particular and the rest of the world in general , stressing that the body is working hard to implement the directives of the Saudi monarch, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz , with respect to detainees in Iraq .
Iraq has repeatedly accused Saudi Arabia of supporting the activities of armed groups , which are acts of violence inside Iraq by providing financial support and fighters , which was denied by the Kingdom continuously.
