Shafaq News/ Saairun alliance supported by the leader of al- Sadr movement , Muqtada al-Sadr revealed on Sunday, the reason for the movement of some political parties to change some governors.

“ The political agreements between some blocs and parties to change some governors, are among the political plans to prepare for the elections of the provincial councils to be held in April 2020, so that the region has strong supporters in these provinces,” The Alliance MP , Bader al-Ziadi told Shafaq News.

Ziadi said that "everyone knows that the governor, is the one who has the upper and strong hand in the province, therefore the political parties want governors affiliated to them to join the elections in order to win the largest number of votes and is now beginning to change governors and bring others loyal to them."
