Shafaq News / The Member of the Parliament Alliance Towards Reforms , Salam al-Shammari stressed on Wednesday the need to vote on the ministerial cabinet within the constitutional period of Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi.

Al-Shammari said in a press statement today that the country's situation does not tolerate any new crises, indicating that failure to vote on the ministerial cabinet within the constitutional period will enter the country with another crisis.

He added that there is a political consensus within the parliament to pass the cabinet and give it confidence in order to work to implement the demands of the street and the authority to prepare for early elections.

He called on the political blocs opposed to the new government to leave the insistence on quotas and the requirement to grant positions to ensure that confidence is granted and it must place the public interest above any consideration.

The Iraqi parliament is scheduled to hold a session on Thursday, to give confidence to the government formation that will be presented by Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi, who is supported in an undisclosed manner by the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada Al-Sadr and leader of Badr organization , Hadi Al-Amiri, amid objections from most of the Kurdish and Sunni blocs.
