Shafaq News/ Security forces in Baghdad used on Saturday live bullets to prevent demonstrators from crossing the al- Jomhoriya Bridge to the Green Zone.

Shafaq News reporter said that the security forces used live ammunition against the demonstrators to prevent them from crossing the al- Jomhoriya Bridge in central Baghdad.

He added that the demonstrators pushed concrete blocks till fell, while security forces responded with live bullets, as 10 new injuries among the demonstrators took place.

He noted that there is intensive deployment of the first regiment of the Counter-Terrorism Service at the gate of Baghdad airport and Abbas bin Firnas square.
