Shafaq News/ Dozens of demonstrators were casualties after security forces opened fire towards them in Basra province, a security source said on Sunday.

The source told Shafaq News that more than 70 people were injured, while two people were killed, by security forces in al-Zubair district and Umm Qasr district in Basra province.

It is noteworthy that the protesters blocked roads completely between Zubair district west of Basra and the center of the province, on Sunday.
