Shafaq News/ The Integrity Commission disclosed on Monday details of a summon order issued against the former Minister of Health and the former governor of Babylon, while noted to the implementation of the arrest warrant against the former Director-General of health of the province.

The Investigations Department reported on the details of recruitment and arrest warrants that were issued on the background of cases that it had investigated in and referred them to the judiciary according to Article 340 of the Penal Code.

The Department confirmed the issuance of an order against the former Governor of Babylon based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code on the background of the overpriced materials purchase to Qasim municipality during his tenure in the province.

The arrest warrant issued against the former Director-General of Babylon Health Department was executed on the basis of the provisions of Article 340 of the Penal Code, and he was placed in custody on the background of the issue of the province's health publications in 2017.

It is noteworthy that the Commission had announced earlier this month, the issuance of 60 arrest warrants and summons orders against deputies and local officials on charges of corruption after the start of bloody protests in the capital Baghdad and a number of provinces in the center and south of the country.
