Shafaq News / The Iraqi Forces Coalition, headed by Muhammad Al-Halbousi intends to present the names of candidates for some of the ministries of the government of Mustafa Al-Kathemi as an entitlement to the Sunni component.
The leader in the coalition, Sabah al-Karbouli told Shafaq News that "until now, we have not reached this stage of negotiations with the ministers of Mustafa al-Kathemi and the major political blocs, regarding the entitlement of the Sunni component of ministerial portfolios in the new government."
He added, "Our position is not very different from the Kurdish and Shiite blocs, in order to choose the easiest and shortest way in which the new government can be formed."
Al-Karbouli pointed out that "the presence of names of candidates ready for some ministries, which are from the right of the Sunni component, but we have not submitted them until now to Al-Kathemi. This issue needs to be negotiated and consulted as this issue has not been discussed until now, , this issue will perhaps be discussed within a few days."
The deputy of the State of Law bloc Ali Jabbar Al-Ghanmi revealed on Thursday, that some political blocs submitted to Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kathemi a list of their candidates for ministerial portfolios in the next government.
The Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kathemi announced in an interview with journalists on Tuesday that the names of members of the government cabinet are ready and he is negotiating with the political blocs on this in order to pass it inside the parliament dome as soon as possible.
Al-Kathemi said he is the head of a crisis government, "and neither he nor anyone else has a magic stick" to solve the crises in Iraq.
