Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Friday the emergence of 29 new cases of Covid-19, including 12 children, in the region's capital "Erbil".
The ministry's statement, received by Shafaq news agency, added that only 27 of them caught the infection after contact with previously diagnosed patients.
The statement added that another 43 new cases were registered in Al-Sulaymaniyah province, only four among which caught the infection from a known source.
The ministry indicated that 36 patients reside in Al-Sulaymaniyah, while the rest were distributed as follow: two in the Bazian district, two in the new Halabja area, a single in each of the Warmawa district, the Jawarta district and the Said Sadiq district.
