Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi confirmed on Sunday that the decision to transfer the chief of counter-terrorism service, Lieutenant General, Abdul Wahab al-Saadi the Ministry of Defense is irreversible.

"The decision to refer Saadi to the Ministry of Defense is irrevocable," Abdel Mahdi told reporters.

He added that "the officer does not choose his position, he is ordered and must implement them," noting that "the presence of some officers in embassies is unacceptable."

"The military establishment cannot be left to personal desires, whether it is those of the commander-in-chief or any other figure," he said.
