Shafaq News / The candidate for prime minister, Naim Al-Suhail rejected on Tuesday what he called "the language of violence threat ", indicating that it cannot be a cause of bloodshed or violation of the sanctity of the state and exposing Iraq and Iraqis to dangers.

"I reject the threatening language or noting to the use of violence in a statement of opinion about a candidate whose name is being mentioned  to be a Prime Minister or in rejecting another candidate, even if that may indirectly contribute to reaching my mandate to form a government," Al-Suhail said in a statement received by Shafaq News.

He explained, "I would like to explain to all the brothers, frankly that my project is the project of the state and I have no project other than this." He added that "my duty is to build the foundation for the state to embrace everyone and to impose everyone's respect for the responsibilities and national understanding and the state's outputs. Iraq does not tolerate violating its sovereignty and blocking the path to giving pretexts for violating sovereignty.

"My history and my family’s name do not allow me to be the outlet of a process in which it has any form of violence. Rights are preserved inside the homeland by logic and dialogue and within the framework of law and the constitution only, it is not possible to accept or tolerate any proposal outside this framework, and in dealing with matters outside the borders of Iraq, so the government is the only right to pursue national adoptions as a democratic government represents the will of the people and is a reflection of the choice of Iraqis, "stressing that" I cannot be a cause of bloodshed or violation of the sanctity of the state and exposing Iraq and Iraqis to dangers. "

Naeem Al-Suhail was presented as one of the candidates for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, a man close to the leader of the State of Law coalition Nuri al-Maliki, alongside Mustafa Al-Kathemi, Ali Al-Shukri, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, and Adnan Al-Zarfi.
