Shafaq News / The Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee expressed today, Thursday, its support of the Prime Minister plans to cooperate with neighboring countries.
Member of the committee Nahida Al-Daini told Shafaq News agency, "Al-Kadhimi's foreign visits are a positive step for Iraq's economic and political openness with neighboring countries and regional states."
Al-Daini stressed that "Iraq needs to open up with the Gulf states in the energy and investment field and revive the sectors of agriculture and industry th and seeking international expertise to fight corruption."
Al-Daini stressed "the necessity of ending political problems with all countries, and that Iraq should not be a place for disputed countries, as well as respecting Iraqi sovereignty and rejecting interference in its affairs.”
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi started his visits abroad by visiting Iran and concluding agreements in various fields.
Al-Kadhimi's visit to Saudi Arabia and Washington is scheduled the coming days.
