Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Displacement and Migration announced on Tuesday launching the second grant round for families returning from internal displacement to their original areas which is one and a half million dinars for each returning family.

The Director General of the Information and Research Department at the ministry, Iman Naji Hindi, said in a statement today that "the ministry started the process of launching the disbursement of this grant through tables of the familie’s names included on its website and social networking sites," indicating that the round included 8000 families returning from emergency displacement and registered within its database, pointing out that the displaced families covered by the grant can receive the financial grant via smart card starting from today.

She pointed out that the launching the financial grants to displaced families comes within the efforts of the Ministry, despite the lack of financial allocations to reduce the suffering of the affected people and to improve their situation.
