Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health and Environment denied, on Tuesday, reports that one of the persons infected with Corona virus had died in Baghdad.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Saif Al-Badr said in an interview reported to Shafaq News, that "the news that spoke about the death of one of those infected with Corona virus in Rusafa is incorrect," stressing that "all those infected in Baghdad and the provinces are followed by the institutions of the Ministry of Health and are quarantined in special centers." .

Al-Badr added that "most of the infected people are in good condition, while the Ministry of Health cadres are closely following the condition of the elderly."

It is noteworthy that the number of infections with Corona virus rose in Iraq to 26 cases after the Ministry of Health announced on Monday, recording 5 new cases, 3 of which were in Baghdad and two in Maysan and Najaf provinces.
