He added that the Israeli army "considers the Syrian regime responsible for every operation launched from its territory."

"We warn Bashar al-Assad’s regime that he will pay a heavy price for allowing the Iranians and Shiite militias to work from within his territory, turning a blind eye and even cooperating with them, as this is not a secret to us" the spokesman said.

Earlier today, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that unidentified aircraft killed 18 members of the Iranian forces and their affiliated factions in Albu Kamal area.

The headquarters of the armed Iraqi factions in ​​"Albu Kamal” Syrian area, adjacent to the Iraqi al-Qaim district was subjected to bombings.

Arab media reported that "these explosions targeted the headquarters of factions belonging to the Popular Crowd Units, including the headquarters of (Al-Abdal), (Haidarion) and (Iraqi Hezbollah) inside the Syrian territory which resulted in deaths and injuries among the elements of those factions."

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the blasts were caused by blasts from unidentified planes so far.

Iran deploys in Albu Kamal the following: Lebanese Hezbollah, the Iraqi Hezbollah, al- Nujaba, Fatimion and Zeinabion forces, all led by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
